Norah jumps into the big screen - 2007-11-28
Norah Jones will make her foray on the big screen, appearing on "My Blueberry Nights." In the movie directed by Chinese Wong Kar Wai, Jones will play a woman who takes a cross-country journey in attempt to escape her past. Other artists that will star are Jude Law, David Strathairn, Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman. Jones will also collaborate with the opening number The Story. The film is scheduled for a 2008 release date.
Norah on tour! - 2007-08-28
Norah Jones and The Handsome Band are currently on their 2007 International Tour in Europe. The final concert is set to be on September 2nd in Rjekjavic, Iceland. WARD will be the special guest, who will join Norah. Stay tuned!

NORAH JONES BIOGRAPHY |
|
Norah Jones was born March 30, 1979 in New York City. When she
was four years old, Norah and her mother Sue moved to the Dallas
suburb of Grapevine, Texas. Norah's earliest musical influences
came from her mother's extensive LP collection and from 'oldies'
radio. She began singing in church choirs at age five, commenced
piano lessons two years later, and briefly played alto saxophone
in junior high.
